Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Operate pharmacy technology including barcode scanners and inventory management software
- Maintain sterile compounding equipment for IV preparations
- Manage medication packaging equipment for accurate labeling
- Utilize provided refrigeration systems for temperature-sensitive medications
- Collaborate with pharmacists using digital workflow tools
- Conduct equipment quality checks as per protocol
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license
- 6 months pharmacy experience with equipment operation
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT preferred
- Proficiency with pharmacy technology (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Ability to safely operate automated dispensing systems
- Strong attention to detail with medication packaging equipment
- Basic computer skills for inventory software
- Ability to lift 25 lbs with provided mechanical aids
