Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications according to state and federal regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.
- Verify insurance information and process payments efficiently at the point of service.
- Assist pharmacists with medication compounding and quality assurance checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or CPhT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and computer systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license (optional but recommended for delivery duties).
