Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately using automated compounding systems
- Manage inventory with provided barcode scanners and inventory management software
- Operate automated dispensing cabinets and IV preparation equipment
- Maintain sterile environments using provided cleanroom equipment
- Process insurance claims using provided pharmacy management systems
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage with provided educational tools
- Document pharmacy activities using provided electronic health record systems
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred
- Proficiency with pharmacy automation systems (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided equipment
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn new systems
