Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory with digital tracking tools and barcode scanners
- Operate pharmacy equipment including compounding devices and IV preparation stations
- Process prescriptions through electronic health record systems
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage with provided reference materials
- Maintain sterile environments using provided personal protective equipment
- Collaborate with pharmacists using provided communication platforms
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 6+ months experience with pharmacy automation systems
- Proficiency in medication packaging and compounding equipment
- Strong attention to detail with prescription verification experience
- Ability to work with provided electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Pharmacy Tech certification preferred)
