Responsibilities
- Accurately process and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Maintain precise records in pharmacy management systems and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist in vaccine administration and immunization record maintenance
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing and pharmacy software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
