Your Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring accuracy in every prescription processed.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, review, and prepare prescription medications for dispensing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist the pharmacist in the compounding of medications and the operation of dispensing equipment.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license (if applicable for the role).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
