Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify prescription orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations (HIPAA).
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and other specialized tasks.
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy terminology and medication safety protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
