Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescriptions accurately according to state and federal regulations.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and managing expiration dates.
- Assist customers with medication questions and over-the-counter product recommendations.
- Process returns, transfers, and refill requests efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months.
- Current Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
