The Role
You will be the vital link between our pharmacists and patients, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and prescription details to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and conducting monthly stock counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, processing payments, and addressing patient inquiries.
- Prepare medication labels and organize the workflow to maintain an efficient pharmacy environment.
- Assist with medication therapy management (MTM) tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or valid state registration/license.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with pharmacy management software (e.g., RxWorks, Cerner).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
