Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of prescriptions and patient information before dispensing.
- Prepare and package medication, including compounding when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding prescriptions.
- Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining patient profiles and insurance verification.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification.
- Valid New Mexico State Pharmacy Technician License (if applicable).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software.
