Responsibilities
- Accurately process and fill prescription orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication interactions to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing expiration dates.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving medication inquiries.
- Prepare medication labels, manage the drive-thru window, and process payments.
- Assist with the management of the pharmacy's computer systems and electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software is a plus.
