Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and medication therapy management.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking medications.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Process returns, exchanges, and reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to certify (PTCB/ExCPT).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
