Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications following strict safety protocols.
- Verify and input patient information, including insurance details and medication history.
- Assist pharmacists with the management of inventory, including ordering, stocking, and counting medications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving prescription issues efficiently.
- Process cash and insurance transactions, ensuring accuracy at the point of sale.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or state license) required.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors before dispensing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software (preferred).
