Responsibilities
- Verify prescription orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and label medications according to strict safety protocols.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and auditing supplies.
- Assist pharmacists with medication therapy management and patient consultations.
- Process insurance claims and handle payment transactions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or equivalent state license required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
