Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process new prescriptions and refill requests accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers by answering questions regarding medications, insurance, and health products.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure billing accuracy.
- Perform basic computer data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain certification (we will guide you through the process).
- Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation is required for daily commutes.
