Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of prescription medications.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock, and coordinate equipment maintenance schedules.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Process returns, refunds, and co-pays accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment at all times.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to patients.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or equivalent state license).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, drug interactions, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software and computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
