Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and organized.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing chairside support and hand instruments as needed.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) and intraoral photographs under the supervision of the dentist.
- Guide patients through their dental visits, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and maintain accurate medical histories in our practice management software.
- Perform basic lab duties, such as pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary crowns.
- Assist with front desk reception duties, including scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients of varying heights.
- Willingness to learn and complete the required paid training program.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some locations).
