Job Overview
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our patients receive the medications they need safely and accurately. You will work closely with pharmacists to prepare prescriptions, manage inventory, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure billing accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Assist with the clean-up and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Process returns and handle medication recalls as required.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
- Active AZ Pharmacy Technician License.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
