Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our patients receive the correct medications safely and efficiently. You will work closely with licensed pharmacists to manage prescription workflows, inventory, and patient interactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process prescription orders accurately, verifying patient information and insurance details.
- Prepare and label medication for dispensing, ensuring all safety protocols are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and restock pharmacy shelves in a timely manner.
- Assist pharmacists with medication therapy management and answer patient inquiries regarding prescriptions.
- Operate pharmacy software systems and handle cash transactions for over-the-counter sales.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment for staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred (NHA or PTCB).
- Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician License.

- Proficiency with computer systems and pharmacy software.
