Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to patients.
- Review prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, and potential drug interactions.
- Prepare and package medication labels and bottles.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions at the front counter.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy environment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient questions regarding medications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for store visits).
