Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies to prevent stockouts.
- Process insurance claims and reimbursements, resolving any discrepancies or authorization issues efficiently.
- Assist patients with medication inquiries, providing basic counseling and ensuring they understand their treatment plans.

Qualifications
- Current, valid California Pharmacy Technician License.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
