Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries
- Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, and pharmacy board regulations
- Operate pharmacy technology systems including POS and inventory software
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math proficiency for medication calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary – training provided
- Must pass background check and drug screening
