Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and stock rotation systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV preparations
- Train new pharmacy staff on SOPs and workflows
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass criminal background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Valid Texas driver's license (if required for deliveries)
- Commitment to completing 6-week paid training program
- Must pass PTCB exam within first year of employment
