Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage decisions based on medical urgency and acuity.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and patients regarding treatment plans and next steps.
- Manage patient flow and queue to minimize wait times and optimize clinic efficiency.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and clinical findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Provide health education, medication counseling, and referrals to appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with the front desk and nursing staff to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in triage or emergency medicine.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
