Responsibilities
- Receive and process prescription orders accurately and efficiently using the Pharmacy Management System.
- Prepare and package medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and verifying expiration dates of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, answering inquiries regarding prescription medications.
- Assist in the reconciliation of medication orders, insurance verifications, and billing processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
