Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and fill prescriptions according to state and federal regulations.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and perform drug interaction checks.
- Assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and packaging of medications.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving shipments and restocking supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
Qualifications:
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
