Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and compounding
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
