Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine urgency and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans
- Document clinical encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Manage triage protocols for pediatric/adult patients
- Supervise LPNs and medical assistants during shifts
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BSN or higher preferred
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
- Expertise in EHR documentation (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
- Strong familiarity with JCAHO triage protocols
