Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and patient billing documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and record-keeping
- Assist with immunizations and health screenings (when certified)
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician license (required)
- Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
