Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing, verification, and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain inventory control and pharmacy compliance standards
- Utilize pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Rx30) for prescription management
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and medical terminology
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic records
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
