Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Verify patient information and ensure the accuracy of prescriptions before dispensing.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment following all safety regulations.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred but not always required for top candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in medication handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
