Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and OSHA regulations.
- Prepare, label, and transport blood specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
- Interact professionally with patients, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety and ensure compliance.
- Verify patient information and ensure accuracy in all documentation and electronic records.
- Assist with inventory management of blood collection supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong desire to enter the healthcare field and willingness to learn new skills.
