Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and sterile supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and wound management
- Maintain sterile environments and implement infection control protocols
- Document surgical cases and update electronic health records remotely
- Coordinate with team members via telehealth platforms
- Participate in virtual training and continuing education
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance logistics
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- BLS certification with current CPR
- Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 remote days/week)
- Strong telehealth communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance for remote documentation
- Proficiency with surgical equipment and sterilization processes
