Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity are upheld at all times.
- Participate in shift handovers and unit rounds to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry, or ER preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different facility environments.
