Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.
- Label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory for analysis.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and alleviate anxiety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure timely specimen collection.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program (or eligible for our paid training track).
- CPR and BLS certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
