Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to CLIA standards
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate documentation
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Provide patient education during procedures
- Collaborate with lab and clinical teams
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, AMT, or NHA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Valid CPR certification
- Proficiency in specimen processing systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
