Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following strict aseptic protocols
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory analysis
- Verify patient identity and maintain comprehensive electronic health records
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of biological samples
- Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment per regulatory standards
- Provide patient education on pre-test preparation procedures
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve specimen discrepancies

Qualifications
- Current Florida Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT) required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
