Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using provided equipment
- Process and label specimens accurately following HIPAA protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and calibration of provided phlebotomy devices
- Provide exceptional patient care during specimen collection
- Document procedures and maintain electronic health records
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams
- Train on new equipment and techniques as implemented
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with all provided phlebotomy equipment
- Strong venipuncture skills in diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently with provided technology
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Background check and health clearance required
