Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to elderly clients including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and medication remindersMonitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings
- Adhere to HIPAA and agency safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with patience and empathy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Fluent in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
