Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on severity
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone, telehealth, and in-person triage
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to coordinate patient care
- Document assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Educate patients on care pathways and home management instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
