Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain clinical equipment according to OSHA standards
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort focus
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
- Deliver patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate digital charting using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Assist in emergency dental situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant certification required (DA or DA II)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification with current BLS credentials
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional chairside demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and dental materials
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
