Responsibilities
- Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection using provided premium equipment
- Process and transport specimens while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance
- Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy devices as per manufacturer protocols
- Ensure patient comfort through exceptional bedside communication techniques
- Document procedures accurately in EMR systems with zero supply management burden
- Collaborate with lab teams for seamless specimen processing workflows
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or AMT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in blood collection techniques with provided equipment
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
