Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and sample documentation
- Ensure sterile equipment and infection control standards
- Provide exceptional patient care during high-volume draws
- Collaborate with lab staff for efficient workflow
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Phlebotomy Technician certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent venipuncture skills for diverse patient populations
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Proficient in LIS/HIPAA compliance protocols
