Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort
- Process, label, and transport specimens following HIPAA protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and medical equipment calibration
- Provide patient education during specimen collection procedures
- Document all procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with clinical team to optimize patient flow
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- WA State Phlebotomy Technician license required
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
