- Perform routine venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Greet patients warmly, explain procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure a comfortable testing experience.
- Label, log, and organize blood samples accurately for laboratory processing.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines (OSHA).
- Assist in the preparation of medical records and ensuring specimen integrity during transport.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide high-quality patient service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse patients.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift equipment as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for travel within the St. Louis metro area).
- Willingness to complete required certifications or training programs provided by the company.
