Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take their prescriptions on time.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for caregiving.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and lifting as needed.
- Experience working with seniors or in healthcare settings is a plus.
