Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections
- Process and transport specimens to lab
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA protocols
- Operate automated lab equipment
- Provide patient education during procedures
- Manage inventory of collection supplies
Qualifications
- Current Florida Phlebotomy Technician certification
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent venipuncture skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
