Your Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Prepare and label specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout the collection process.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and laboratory safety protocols.
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation (EHR) with high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care flow.
Your Qualifications
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or Phlebotomy Assistant required.
- Current, unencumbered California Phlebotomy license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
