Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and patient comfort
- Process and label specimens according to clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Operate and maintain phlebotomy equipment and inventory
- Provide exceptional patient care during collection procedures
- Collaborate with lab teams for efficient specimen processing
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASPT or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in venipuncture
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if traveling between sites)
