What You'll Do
Your daily responsibilities will include assisting clients with their personal hygiene, preparing nutritious meals, providing medication reminders, and accompanying them to medical appointments. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and eager to make a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Monitor and document daily health changes, vital signs, and medication intake accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Accompany clients to doctor appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for home visits).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and reference verification.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (we provide training if you are a new hire).
